Hand Reconstruction

Functional and aesthetic reconstruction of the hands is of utmost priority for our daily life. Besides acute hand trauma surgery I do also offer all modern techniques of secondary reconstructive hand surgery including:

• Acute hand trauma surgery including replantation of amputated body parts (fingers, hands, etc.)
• Toe transplantation for finger- and thumb reconstruction
• Functional reconstruction after nerve paralysis of the hand- and forearm by muscle transplantation, muscle transfer or microsurgical nerve transfers
• Finger joint prostheses or free microvascular joint transplantation to preserve finger mobility
